Registration

The IEEE ISPCS 2023 conference is the premier event for researchers and practitioners in the field of precision clock synchronization. Register today and be a part of the conversation.

All attendees must follow rules and regulations put in place by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). No devices may be plugged into a power outlet on the NPL site that has not been PAT (Portable Appliance tested) tested and passes all requirements. This testing must have been completed within one (1) year of the Conference and the device must display the proof of the PAT. 

Items required for testing include but are not limited to: Laptops - Chargers - Adapters/Converters

UK PAT Testing will not be provided on site at NPL. Please make arrangements with an electrician ahead of time to have this testing completed. It will be your responsibility to ensure all devices tested have received sufficient documentation and is with you during the conference. 

**The last day to register for ISPCS 2023 is September 13, 2023. Onsite registration will not be permitted. 

AUTHOR REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

An accepted paper will be published in the proceedings only if the registration payment for one of the authors is received and correctly processed by August 21, 2023, no exceptions. Student and IEEE Life Member registration fees cannot be used to guarantee the publication of an accepted paper. If the author registering to cover the paper publication is a student, he/she must pay the appropriate member or non-member fee. Members to whom the society bylaws grant special discounts (e.g., Students, Life members of the IEEE) cannot use the discounted rates to cover the publication of an accepted paper, they have to pay the member fee.

One author registration will cover the publication expenses of only ONE accepted paper. For each additional accepted paper associated to the same registration, a $100 USD fee will be charged. Up to 3 papers can be covered by a single registration with additional paper fees. If an author is registering to cover the publication of more than 3 papers, they will need to pay an additional full registration fee. In the case no registration has been received and correctly processed to cover the paper publication, the conference organizers will contact the authors before the paper is removed from the proceedings.

BANK TRANSFERS

Please register directly online through the registration portal if you will be paying via wire transfer (non-refundable). If you have any trouble doing so, please contact Alexis Wisdom, ISPCS 2023 Manager. Bank transfer payments will incur a $25 transaction fee.

Only IMS Member, IEEE Member or Non-Member fees are allowed to cover the publication of an accepted paper. To qualify for member rates, the membership number must be provided in the registration form. Student and IEEE Life Member registration fees cannot be used to guarantee the publication of an accepted paper. If the only author registering to cover the paper publication is a student, he/she has to pay the appropriate Member or Non-member fee. 

In case no appropriate registration has been received and correctly processed to cover a paper’s publication, the conference organizers will contact the authors before the paper is removed from the proceedings.

INVITATION LETTERS

A letter of invitation is provided upon request only after you have completed registration for the conference and paid the conference registration fee. If you require an invitation letter please contact Alexis Wisdom via email and indicate if there is any additional information that will need to be listed. 

VISA INFORMATION

Citizens of certain countries and territories may need a visa to visit or transit to the United Kingdom. The following information is provided as a courtesy but is subject to change. Please contact the visa department of your home country.

Please check UK Standard Visitor Visa to see if you will need a visa from your country of origin.
